Understanding Dreams

The front cover
Today head to the Borders at The Curve just before the gym class starts. Head there just to check out if they have any books on Spirituality Intelligence or maybe on Parapsychology. Apparently they do not have a section called New Age. But they do have books that is related to it. I came across a book called Understanding Dreams. It is category under the Astrology section at Borders.

Contents
This book consists 7 Chapters regarding what is dream, the unconsious mind and the main attraction of this book is they list down some of the things that portray in our dreams and what it could related to. My personal experience in a dream is I dreamt that someone is being abducted or kidnap. So, when I try to look for what my brain trying to tell me, it seems like, I am worry that I will be left alone and need to be self-sufficient. And to my surprise too, this category of dream usually occur in newly engaged woman that just has been introduced to her in-laws. Other symbols they mentioned in this book is on laughter, rape, abuse, abandonment etc.

Back Cover
The book only costs around RM28. If you are a maybank card user, you are entitled to 10% with accumulated amount of  more than RM80 in condition, all the books are at normal price. For me, it is a book not to be missed, especially if you are just starting to mingle with this topic. The wordings is easy to be understand, directive and it is not too thick.

Nice Lunch at Ying Ker Lou @ The Curve

Dining at Ying Ker Lou
After a nice workout at the Fitness First Gym today, my dear hubby bring me to a nice Hakka Restaurant at The Curve for our lunch after a tired work out. The place is called Ying Ker Lou. We went to this place the second time. And the food here never fail us with their taste and display. Simple and nice. But just to let Muslims viewers of this blog. The food here is NON-HALAL, so please don't head there for the food. I will have other place to recommend for my Muslim followers of my blog.

This is my lunch sponsor :-P

Stir-fry Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion ,
Along side is Brown Rice, Fresh Garlic and Chilies

We order a fish dish, a soup and a tofu dish for today's lunch feast. And to go with the meals is brown rice. What a healthy meal!!! Our first dish is Stir-fry Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion. The fish slices taste very fresh and I can barely taste the fishy smell that we would have in a fish dish. The crunchiness of the spring onion and ginger is just right. And it goes very well with the brown rice. If you don't like brown rice, you can have white rice alternatively.

Double Broiled Herbal Soup with Yuk Chok
Second dish is Double Broiled Herbal Soup with Yuk Chok. It was very refreshing and the yuk chok is so tender that I can eat it just like that. The soup is really thirst quencher and we didn't order any drink after that.
But the second dish took longer time to reach our serving table after the first dish is out. Guess they need longer time to get the soup ready. :)

Stuffed Tofu in Hot Pot
The third and final dish is Stuffed Tofu in Hot Pot. It took longer time from the second dish till it reaches our serving table. But it was worth the wait. Inside this hot pot, they include sweet pea, some spring onions, slices of mushrooms, long cabbage, some dried scallops and of course the stuffed tofu. Yummy!! Tofu has always been our favourite ingredient.

The dish arrangement
Later my hubby did some interesting arrangement with the third dish. He really got that artistic skills which I got to say, it was quite nicely done. The only thing is, he ain't international chef, he is just home domestic chef and me as the "little kitchen helper".

After the sumptuous lunch, we head for a short window shopping and head directly back to our own little home.

Numerology Made Easy

Got this from MPH@The Curve
After attending 3 series on Emotional Spiritual Intelligence Course at Institute Social of Malaysia, am getting interested in Positive Psychology and wanted to learn some extra skills on my own. Got myself a book on Numerology. Wanted to share this book with fellow bloggers that are interest in New Age genre.
One of the pages on how to calculate

Overall this book consists of 10 Chapters and 84 pages only. It is easy to understand and easy to conduct the steps in this book. This book is about calculating our own birthday date and own name into a number. And each number represents a life path. Each number is unique . It is definitely a book not to be missed. Numerology is something for us to expose and read on. Not necessarily for us to believe it. Ought to be careful so that we will not be too obsessed over it. Just a guidance for us to understand ourselves more and how to upgrade ourselves towards a better well-being.

This is the back of the book
This book also a way for us to start off a rapport with a stranger that we just knew. So, if you guys are interested in this, please grab one either from http://www.amazon.com/ or check out at the nearest MPH store (http://www.mph.com.my/).
