Nice Lunch at Ying Ker Lou @ The Curve

Dining at Ying Ker Lou
After a nice workout at the Fitness First Gym today, my dear hubby bring me to a nice Hakka Restaurant at The Curve for our lunch after a tired work out. The place is called Ying Ker Lou. We went to this place the second time. And the food here never fail us with their taste and display. Simple and nice. But just to let Muslims viewers of this blog. The food here is NON-HALAL, so please don't head there for the food. I will have other place to recommend for my Muslim followers of my blog.

This is my lunch sponsor :-P

Stir-fry Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion ,
Along side is Brown Rice, Fresh Garlic and Chilies

We order a fish dish, a soup and a tofu dish for today's lunch feast. And to go with the meals is brown rice. What a healthy meal!!! Our first dish is Stir-fry Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion. The fish slices taste very fresh and I can barely taste the fishy smell that we would have in a fish dish. The crunchiness of the spring onion and ginger is just right. And it goes very well with the brown rice. If you don't like brown rice, you can have white rice alternatively.

Double Broiled Herbal Soup with Yuk Chok
Second dish is Double Broiled Herbal Soup with Yuk Chok. It was very refreshing and the yuk chok is so tender that I can eat it just like that. The soup is really thirst quencher and we didn't order any drink after that.
But the second dish took longer time to reach our serving table after the first dish is out. Guess they need longer time to get the soup ready. :)

Stuffed Tofu in Hot Pot
The third and final dish is Stuffed Tofu in Hot Pot. It took longer time from the second dish till it reaches our serving table. But it was worth the wait. Inside this hot pot, they include sweet pea, some spring onions, slices of mushrooms, long cabbage, some dried scallops and of course the stuffed tofu. Yummy!! Tofu has always been our favourite ingredient.

The dish arrangement
Later my hubby did some interesting arrangement with the third dish. He really got that artistic skills which I got to say, it was quite nicely done. The only thing is, he ain't international chef, he is just home domestic chef and me as the "little kitchen helper".

After the sumptuous lunch, we head for a short window shopping and head directly back to our own little home.
